There’s nothing easy about choosing to educate your own child and following through without losing your mind.
Homeschooling is hard, and I dare say unschooling is harder — really forging your own path and not giving in to the temptation of following someone else’s idea of how your child’s education should go.
I felt like I didn’t have a choice to do this — it was just the thing I HAD to do, because it was the right thing to do.
But going into the third week of my second year of this homeschooling / unschooling whatever you want to call it adventure, I am questioning myself once again whether this was the right thing to do.
Because it’s hard. Did I mention that it’s hard?
